I've been writing up a little tech blog over at tucsoncitizen.com called techjunkie.  Yeah, I know it's not the best name, but it's something, and well, I needed something. I'm trying to be entertaining and informative, but it's hard to be funny when talking about iPhones, or something.  Anyway, come on by if you like.

Today is our nation’s birthday. It is also my wedding anniversary.

Tiff and I got married on the 4th of July on a kind of whim. We were engaged and trying to figure out what to do for the wedding. The original plan was to get married in Las Vegas on the 4th of July. But then we abandoned the idea because of the expense and the complexity that wedding planning is. Then at the last minute we decided to do it anyway.

That was six years ago. We’ve been pretty happy since I think. I hope we stay togehter for many, many more.

I've been running the Windows 7 Beta since about Christmas.   But now with the nearly done Release Candidate, I decided to run it as my primary OS here at work.  It's pretty awesome.  Ironically the only things I can't get working on it are the Windows Server 2003 Admin Tools Users and Computers, and the wacky corp version of Windows Messenger 5.1.  For those I am running an XP installation in VMware – which works very nicely.
