how the recession is affecting me
The bad news:
1) Our house is worth about 60 bucks now. We are paying a lot more than that for it.
2) Carl's Jr replaced their good fries with stupid Recession Fries. Blech!
3) Here at work they replaced the paper towels in the bathrooms with new Recession Grade Paper Towels. Soon they'll just start using newsprint. After that they will replace the paper towel dispenser with a diagram of how to dry your hands using your shirt… or they'll send out an email saying that employees that want to wash their hands will be fired.
The good news:
1) I still make the same money I was making pre-recession. That makes me one of the richest men in America.
2) Gas is cheap. I saw $1.48/gallon yesterday. By the time you read this it'll be down to 99 cents. Wahoo!
3) Lots of businesses are going out of business! That means bargain basement prices on everything. I just bought a new flat panel TV for 12 damn dollars.

new photo gallery
Hey you – I'm ditching Picasa as my online host for my pictures. I've found a much better place to host my pictures… here. I have gobs of disk space up in here at the schlam.org, so I figure why the heck not?
I've worked all week on getting it to integrate with Wordpress and I think it looks pretty good. Not everything is online yet, but I'll eventually get everything migrated over here. Click the "Gallery" link at the top of the page or just click here. You're not an idiot. Stop beating yourself up.

hey, what’s new?
It's been a while since I posted anything on here. Lots of new stuff going on…
Tiff and I are going to New Orleans for Christmas. It's a free trip because she'll working, but I never gift horse take a mouth in the face. Not bad. If anyone has any tips for a good time in New Orleans let me know.
The Croutons have started working on new stuff. This will be the first time since 2004 that we've done anything new and great. Hopefully we'll have something new to present in the coming weeks. If not you can listen back to the hits of the past and wonder, "where are they now?"
Speaking of the coming weeks, The Monitors will be releasing their 2nd record. As a member of the band, I guess I should say, "we will be releasing our second record." We have some good songs and some not-so-good songs on it. You'll love it.
Umm… what else? I think you know what else.
