Hey, anyone remember RocketMail?  I used to have a RM account… damned if I remember what my login info is anymore.   RocketMail was the cooler verison of Hotmail back in 1996.  Actually they were both pretty cool until they got bought out by the big guys. 

Well anyway, when Yahoo! aquired RM in '97 they stopped allowing people to get RM addresses…. until now!  Recently Yahoo! has decided to allow people to create RocketMail and new YMail accounts.  Of course, I don't really have a need for any of these accounts, but it's cool to see it's back.  So if you're in the market for a new email address, and you hate the ease of use of GMail, or you're tired of the ads on Hotmail, consider getting a RocketMail account. Sure there will be tons of ads on the page, but they will be DIFFERENT ads.  Just signup for a Yahoo account, and you'll get the option of creating a yahoo, ymail, or rocketmail.com email address.
