Happy Leap Day, suckers!  It's the 29th of February again.  Once every 4 years, just like the presidential election, and the Summer Olympics. 
So, what'd you get me for Leap Day this time?  Nothing?  Fine.  I got you nothing, too.  Now we're even.  That's okay though, it's hard to find just the right Leap Day card at Walgreens that expresses just the right Leap Day sentiment.

Anyways, good luck trying to figure out what to do with your Leap Day.  I'm going to spend mine waking up late, and "working".  HAHHAHAHAHAA.  Someone should write some Leap Day carols.  I'll get right on that.

I tell ya, I like Wordpress.  It's pretty versatile.  So, while working the night shift here at TNI, I decided I would use this wasted time wisely.  I thought about putting together a website for the new band, The Monitors.  I decided to go with Wordpress.  It's easy to set up, easy to post things to it, and highly customizable - even for a non-web programmer like me.  I found a cool theme and started on it… It's a work in progress, but it'll certainly do the trick.

As for the band…  I think it's pretty good stuff.  I'm "playing" guitar and keeping my "soloing" to a minimum.  You can check out some of the songs on the MySpace page (I haven't gotten a music player added to the website yet).  Let me know what you think. 

Yeah, I know it's a bit early… but it's not so much me wishing you a Happy Easter Day as it is the cafeteria at my work.  Actually, what's funnier is that last month the painted window read, Happy Valtines (rhymes with Saltines) Day.  Not only did the guy forget the E, but he also missed the N.  Too bad I don't have a photo of that…  I shoulda took one. 

But, I can't really give the guy too much crap…  he's painting windows for a living.  And that's pretty cool.  Window Painter Guy, I salute you!

I’m working nights again. It’s okay. Lots of “do nothing” time at home and at work. That’s pretty nice. My nickname in college was Capitan Doctor Lazy - so that works out. Of course, that’s a lie… I didn’t go to college.
I’m listening to the first Frank Black and the Catholics disc. It’s a good one. You should get it. Speaking of getting it… I don’t get it anymore. I’m too old and unhip. I used to be young and unhip, but now I’ve aged into a middle-aged older guy who doesn’t get it anymore. I used to get it… but now it doesn’t make sense anymore. That’s okay.

It only comes once a week… the twilight of the workweek.
