They Might Be Doctors?
So - I dreamed a weird-ass dream this morning…
Okay, So… They Might Be Giants are playing 2 shows in Tucson (not in reality, but in the dream). After their shows they've decided to perform surgeries and other medical procedures. So after the first show I had some dental work done. I guess it went well because the next night after the show I was planning on getting a nose-job done by John Linnell (pictured behind the wheel). After the show I'm being prepped for surgery, and one of the nurses mentions that Linnell 'lost a patient' recently doing this procedure. Of course that made me a little worried. I decided to take a walk around the venue/hospital with John to ask some questions. I asked him how many nose-jobs he has done. His answer was, "11 or 12". I figured the odds were against me… so I politely declined. I think his feelings were hurt though - I think he was really looking forward to doing it.
In related news… TMBG are performing at Club Crawl this year (October 8th) and I couldn't be more excited. The last TMBG show I saw was a few years ago at (the now defunct) City Limits. That was a great night for music. I hope this show is just as great… if they're offering free rhinoplasties after the show, I think I'll pass.

or is the “nose” a dream metaphor for some other appendage that you think needs improvement?
